Coca-Cola has been king of soda collectibles because of how long the company has been in business. But companies like Mountain Dew with the Hillbilly logo and Orange Crush with Crushy are also highly collectible.

Another reason this is a great collectible category is that there were many small soda companies that have come and gone -- so many that it is impossible to know how many there were. But this means there are a lot of signs out there.

You can start collecting soda signs in the $100 to $200 range, or you can buy a Mountain Dew sign for $10,000.

Be careful though. Remember there a lot of reproductions out there. Do your homework, ask your fellow collectors, and join TAC to see more photos of original signs and compare them. It's always a good idea to make sure that before you buy you see if it's authentic. If it doesn't have a TAC sticker of authentication, ask the dealer if he or she will take it back if it's not authentic.
